Members are encouraged to become a part of this very worthwhile and enjoyable group.

Members of this committee meet on a monthly basis -- the second Friday of each month.  The group meets from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Committee members sort and cut fabric to make kits for a variety of special quilts.  These kits are either completed by committee members or passed out at the General Guild meeting for completion by others.

There is always a core group of individuals who work on a monthly basis to provide quilts for on-going projects such as cancer patients; adults and children, children in need of quilts and various veterans’ organizations.   In the past quilts have been distributed at The City of Hope, Children’s Hospital, USC County Women's and Children's Hospital, Children in Foster Homes and Shelters, and the Sepulveda Veterans Hospital.

Pictured are some of the many quilts that have been made for these projects.  There have been over 300 quilts made each year for these many purposes.
